Caring for Your Evening Shade Cottage Heirloom

Tea Towels, Aprons, & Kitchen Linens

• Machine wash cold or warm on a gentle cycle

• Wash with like colors

• Use a mild detergent

• Do not use bleach

• Tumble dry low or line dry

• Remove promptly from the dryer to reduce wrinkles

• Iron on the reverse side, or use a pressing cloth over the embroidery

• Avoid ironing directly on embroidered stitching

Handkerchiefs

• Hand washing is recommended for the longest life

• If machine washed, use a mesh laundry bag on the delicate cycle

• Lay flat or hang to dry

• Iron while slightly damp if desired

• Do not bleach

Lace & Freestanding Lace

• Hand wash only

• Use cool water and mild soap

• Do not wring or twist

• Lay flat to dry

• Lightly press if needed using a pressing cloth

• Store flat to prevent distortion

Bookmarks

• Spot clean only

• Do not machine wash

• Keep away from excessive moisture

• Store flat when not in use
